Award-worthy service from Parkview police

PARKVIEW – Yet another award-filled year for Parkview police as they are recognised at the district and provincial level awards.

 


The Parkview Police Station was grateful for the honour and recognition they received at both the district and provincial awards.

The South African Police Service Johannesburg District Awards were held on 27 September at the Civic Centre in Lenasia South while the SAPS Gauteng Province Annual Excellence Awards were held at the Emperor’s Palace in Kempton Park on 4 October. Parkview Police Station spokesperson Captain Tintswalo Sibeko scooped second runner-up for Admin Employee of the Year level 8–12 for 2018/2019 at the provincial awards.

Parkview Police Station received the following award out of 40 stations at the Johannesburg District Awards 2018/19:

  • Admin Employee of the Year L1–4 first runner-up, telephone operator Joyce Mokopi
  • Admin Employee of the Year L1–4 second runner-up, staff member Sibongile Mashinini
  • Admin Employee of the Year L8–12 winner Captain Tintswalo Sibeko

q Vispol Group of the Year second runner-up, Lieutenant Colonel Lesetja Ledwaba, Constable Tumelo Mokgabudi, Sergeant John Seete, Constable Christopher Hlase, Constable Nzuzo Bhengu.
