Great sports performance by Parktown girls

PARKTOWN – The girls at Parktown High School for Girls put in their best efforts during various sports activities for the season.

The past few weeks saw Parktown High School for Girls learners take part in a lot of sport. According to the marketing and communications manager at the school, Kerry Liss, the girls participated in a variety of sports activities including canoeing, hockey and netball.

“We are very pleased that seven of our canoeing girls made it down to SA Champs and competed against paddlers from all over the country. They all raced in a few events and put themselves to the test. They raced over three days and returned home proud of their results,” said Liss.
