One person killed after a collision on the M1

WAVERLY – A collision on the M1 direction, Johannesburg, just before Corlett Drive in Waverley has left one person killed.

According to a statement released by the media liaison officer of Netcare 911, Shawn Herbst, the accident happened at about 7.57pm.

“Reports from the scene indicate that the adult male driver of a light motor vehicle lost control resulting in the crash,” said Herbst.

The patient was assessed by medics and found to have no signs of life and declared deceased on the scene.
