Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department holds promotional ceremony
JOBURG – Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) appoints 28 sergeants.
The Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) held a promotional ceremony at their headquarters on Friday to appoint 28 sergeants made up of 24 females and 4 males.
JMPD Chief, David Tembe was joined by City of Joburg MMC of Public Safety, Michael Sun, in welcoming the newly appointed sergeants.
Sun said, “The newly appointed sergeants have important responsibilities ahead in ensuring their JMPD members perform their best in serving the residents of Joburg.”
Tembe also took to Twitter and welcome the sergeants.
