City Power is on site to replace the load centre in Clarence Avenue which caught alight

CRAIGHALL PARK – The power outage affects a small part of Parkhurst and Craighall Park in the Hamilton Avenue area.

Ward 117 councillor Tim Truluck announced that City Power are busy working to replace a load centre in Clarence Avenue, Craighall Park, which caught fire at night on 23 January.

“It is an old load centre that had been problematic for a while. Often old ones do catch fire and then they get replaced,” said Truluck.

The outage affects a small part of Parkhurst and Craighall Park in the Hamilton Avenue area.

Truluck said it usually takes two to three days before power is restored and stabilised.
