#ICYMI: Jan Smuts Avenue and Conrad Drive were filled with protesting tow truck drivers yesterday

SANDTON – About 150 SATRA vehicles met and dispersed at Conrad Drive and Jan Smuts Avenue.

Yesterday, 28 November:

Sandton and Craighall roads users were urged to use alternative routes  on 28 November due to civil protest action by South African Towing Recovery Association (Satra) between 10am to 1.30pm.

Workers will be arrived in a motorcade at Discovery to hand over a memorandum to management. Around 150 tow trucks made their way through Sandton.

They will be handing over their grievances to the Automobile Association, Discovery and Digi Call.  Roads to be affected are below.

A copy of their approved license which was approved by Metro police.

Katherine Street, Rivonia Road, Empire Place, Discovery Lane as well as Jan Smuts Avenue and Conrad Drive in Craighall.
