Taxi and SUV collide on Jan Smuts Avenue, six injured

ROSEBANK – Paramedics assessed the patients and found that five had sustained minor to moderate injuries while a sixth patient had sustained serious injuries.

Six people were left injured on 26 September when a taxi and SUV collided on Jan Smuts Drive in Rosebank.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene at 8am to find the two vehicles in the road. The passengers from the taxi were found walking around on the scene.

Paramedics assessed the patients and found that five had sustained minor to moderate injuries while a sixth patient had sustained serious injuries.

The patients were treated for their injuries, while the seriously injured patient was provided with pain-relief medication. All were transported by various services to nearby hospitals.

The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
