Join the Rosebank car guards for their project launch
ROSEBANK – Immaculata Shelter will be hosting a launch of a car guards project to give the community more information about the work that the guards do.
The Rosebank Car Guard team invites the community to the launch of their project where they will be creating public awareness about who they really are and what they do.
According to the project facilitator, social work student, Nompumelelo Ngwenya the project is the initiative of Rosebank police as a crime prevention strategy and income generator for unemployed homeless people. “I have been facilitating the project to improve it and motivate the team… as a stepping stone which can create opportunities for them.”
She said most people mistook the car guards for criminals, therefore this meeting would help bring clarity.
