PARKVIEW – Cooperative weather allowed the Parkview Senior School to hold a successful athletics day with a great turnout.

Parents, learners and teachers at Parkview Senior School all flocked to the school’s sports field for the much-anticipated athletics day.

The learners were dressed in the appropriate colours for their inter-house competitions. A lot of participants were present including the very young, adorable runners from the junior school.

She thanked all the parents and organisers of the event including the head of sports at the school, Tyrone Pugh. “An event of this nature takes a lot of planning and a lot of hard work. Learners’ spirit was exceptional and everything ran so smoothly.”

These were the winners on the day:

Wishing all the athletes a very successful and enjoyable season.”
