SAXONWOLD – It has been reported the family's lawyer had refused to open the gates of the compound, forcing authorities to call for national intervention in order to access the premises.

However, according to the spokesperson for the Hawks, Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi, the Asset Forfeiture Unit (AFU) executed an order on their home in the afternoon, 16 April.

It has been reported the family’s lawyer had refused to open the gates of the premises, forcing the authorities to call for national intervention in order to gain access.

This is a developing story and Rosebank Killarney Gazette is currently at the scene. More information will be provided as it becomes available.

Several days ago, it had been reported that a private jet owned by the Gupta family had landed at Lanseria Airport.

Eyewitness News exclusively reported that the plane had arrived from Dubai and there was no sign of the Gupta brothers.

The news agency also alleged that the companies that owned and financed the planes have been to court to have the plane returned.

Eyewitness News reported that after the plane had landed, police and customs officers were seen boarding it, spending several minutes inside and then disembarking.
