WIN: Ram Slam T20 Challenge tickets are up for grabs
ILLOVO – Win one of three pairs of double tickets to the Lions and Titans game.
The Ram Slam T20 Challenge is heating up, and so are the bizhub Highveld Lions’ chances of winning the tournament after a recent comeback.
The Lions will play an all-important Gauteng derby against the Multiply Titans at the Bidvest Wanderers Stadium at 6pm on 29 November, and you could win one of three pairs of double tickets to see the game by answering the question at the bottom of this article.
The Lions lost to the Titans by eight-wickets in the opening match of their Ram Slam campaign, so they will be looking to bite back.
Fresh off scoring 57 runs off 42 balls in their six-wicket win against Hollywoodbets Dolphins on 19 November, opening batsman Rassie van der Dussen said the trick to beating the Titans this time around was starting well.
“They [the Titans] have quality batsmen but do not bat too deep so if we bowl first and take wickets early we can put them under pressure,” he said.
“If we bat first we must make a big score to put on a lot of scoreboard pressure.”
Van der Dussen added that while he lived in Centurion, he has never played for the Titans and has never regretted joining the quality Lions franchise.
