ROSEBANK – Find out what Rosebank Community Policing Forum chairman, Costa Qually had to say.

 

A meeting was recently held by Rosebank Community Police Forum at Rosebank Police Station on 14 September to address a number of burning issues affecting the precinct.

Costa Qually, forum chairman and longstanding resident of Parkwood, said a major concern for the forum was the number of cases being withdrawn from the court roll at the Hillbrow Magistrates’ Court.

He said crimes of concern within the precinct include hijacking, theft out of a motor vehicles as well as shoplifting. Qaully, however, said that as a deterrent to crime, residents should be more proactive and should take the necessary precautions as well as get involved in activities in the forum and other related activities within the precinct.
