Two siblings at Greenside High School excel at karate

GREENSIDE – The two siblings achieved phenomenal results in both regional and national competitions.

 

Two siblings from Greenside High School, Musheera and Mohammed Kai, will receive awards for their excellence in karate.

Both achieved phenomenal results in their respective age groups at regional and national competitions.

Mohammed received gold medals in both the Kata and Kumite categories and attained his Gauteng colours. In addition to this, he was awarded South African National Colours last year and managed to secure a re-award this year.

Musheera has also been very successful in her karate career as well, managing to attain several gold medals and her Gauteng Provincial Colours for three consecutive years. She was also awarded her South African National Colours in 2015.

At the end of the year, both siblings will be doing their grading for their black belts.
