Parkhurst, the perfect place to put down roots

The trendy hub that is Parkhurst is laden with coffee shops, antique stores, décor boutiques and restaurants, making it the perfect spot to meet with friends, hold informal business meetings or just take in the picturesque surroundings.

In the early 1900s, Parkhurst was registered as Joburg’s 67th suburb, making it one of the oldest. Parkhurst’s 4th Avenue is a popular go-to place for Joburgers and is a definite tourist location. The street is lined with a number of restaurants and hang-out spots, with The Jolly Roger and Espresso being two of the longest-standing establishments.

Over the years, establishments such as Rockets, Hudsons Burgers, Craft, and Nice, have become favourites.
Parkhurst is also well known for its style, with exterior or interior designers. The craft shops and antique outlets boast some exquisite products for sale, or simply to feast your eyes on.

It is constantly evolving and finds a way to stay relevant and refreshing for visitors from both near and far.
Parkhurst is also home to Beaconsfield Bowling Club, for those who enjoy some good lawn bowling. This is a great venue for enjoying the outdoors and socialising with friends while at the same time getting some exercise in the process.
