Students from the King Edward VII Preparatory School in Houghton Estate, hosted a wonderful morning for the Union of Jewish Women’s Brain Boost Stimulation group members on 23 May.
Schoolchildren from grades 1 to 3 sang a medley of songs, including Let it Shine and Catch a Falling Star. As an added treat for the visitors, they learned and sang the traditional Hebrew song, Shalom Aleichem.
The audience loved the morning and sang along with the children.
After the concert, a delicious tea was enjoyed by the guests. The hospitality and warmth shown by the school were an excellent reflection of the values the school teaches the youngsters.

The Brain Boost Stimulation Group is a therapeutic group for elderly people suffering from mild to moderate memory loss. The group, which was established last year, allows for participants to enjoy both physical and mental exercises facilitated by the Union’s dedicated team of volunteers, under the guidance of occupational therapist Kim Lewitte.
The project is funded by the Jewish Community Fund, which is an arm of the Union of Jewish Women.
