Parkview resident and host of the radio show, Corruption Busters, Chad Thomas, is proud of the radio show’s recent win at this year’s Liberty Radio Awards.
Corruption Busters won the award for the Best Day Time Show in the community category.On 22 April, the gala dinner and award presentation ceremony was held at Sandton Convention Centre. The awards cater for the entire radio industry including public broadcasters, commercial radio stations, community radio stations and campus radio stations.More than 450 presenters, producers, shows and stations have received this prestigious award since 2010.

The show is unique in South Africa as it is a radio show 100 per cent committed to exposing fraud and corruption in South Africa.
Thomas said he was humbled by the award. “Never did we imagine that our show would become such a firm favourite. ChaiFM took a chance allowing us to broadcast our message which at times has been quite controversial. We are proud to have broken some of the biggest fraud-related stories in South Africa.”
Corruption Busters broadcasts live on ChaiFM every Monday from 12pm to 1pm with repeats during the week.
