JOBURG – Services at the City of JOburg's customer service centres will resume as normal on Tuesday

The City of Johannesburg’s customer service centres will be closed on 15 April for the long Easter weekend.

Spokesperson for the City of Joburg, Kgamanyane Maphologela, advised customers who wish to pay their accounts to use third party alternatives.

“Services at our customer service centres will resume as normal on Tuesday,” said Maphologela.

During the public holidays, customers are advised to pay their accounts using the following:

  • EasyPay at many shops including Pick n Pay and Shoprite Checkers
  • Debit orders
  • Direct deposits at major banks
  • ATMs
  • Internet and cellphone banking
  • South African Post Office.

“If you haven’t received an account, either pay the same amount as the previous month or call Joburg Connect on 0860 562 874 to enquire as to how much you owe.

“You can also register to receive your accounts by email. All you need to do is to register on the City’s website at www.joburg.org.za and your account will be emailed to you monthly,” concluded Maphologela.
