VIDEO: Charlotte Maxeke hospital collapses
JOBURG - Structural collapse reported at Charlotte Maxeke hospital.
A number of people have been trapped at the Charlotte Maxeke Academic Hospital, after the floor of the reception area collapsed.
Yassen Theba, who works for a security response company with links to paramedic services, confirmed this to News24 on Thursday afternoon.
Paramedics are currently on their way to the scene.

According to reports by Eye Witness News, four people have suffered minor injuries and two people remain trapped in the rubble. It has also been established that the hospital’s roof collapsed.
Emergency services remain on the ground.
