Grade 8s say no to bullies

PARKTOWN – The schoolgirls have vowed during their ongoing campaign that they will stand up against bullying.

Rand Girls High School has intensified its anti-bullying campaign.

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day and World Read Aloud Day, each Grade 8 received a bookmark last week with advice on how to be a great friend, remembering their pledge to be sisters, and looking after each other.

Rand Girls High School’s anti-bullying campaign was launched two weeks ago.

During the first phase of the campaign, the Grade 8s painted their pinkies as a sign that they would stand up against bullying. They also signed pledges to be responsible and respectful citizens.
