Crystal Room at Killarney Country Club revamped
KILLARNEY - In a glamorous event, the Killarney Country Club (KCC) celebrated the launch of their refurbished Crystal Room.
The theme of the evening was shimmer and shine and guests put their best foot forward as they dressed for the occasion.
In his opening speech, president of the club, Gary Levy, mentioned that the general committee is constantly looking at ways to enhance the club and its offerings.
“The need for KCC to be current and relevant to our members and guests is a key consideration during all our discussions. Over the past two years, the committee has debated the refurbishment of this venue,” said Levy.
An agreement was reached and renovations to the venue were made.
Levy also shared other plans they had as a club, “In the near future we will do alterations to the stage and add conferencing facilities to the Crystal Room.”
As the day was about celebration, there was entertainment galore. Comedians Mark Banks, Kedibone Mulaudzi and Mamello Mokoena (Mumz) left guests in stitches. Adding to the string of entertainment was the band Jazzmatix and Elegant Entertainment. Those who attended the event said it was great fun.
