The MultiChoice Diski Challenge has returned for its second season after producing brilliant performances and unearthing new football stars in its inaugural season.

Season two will kick off with a festival weekend at the Makhulong Stadium in Tembisa on 5 September.

The MultiChoice Diski Challenge is a Corporate Investment programme which includes a reserve league of all the 16 clubs playing in the Premier Division.

After the success of season one where 62 games were played in five provinces around the country, and a total of 186 goals were scored, season two promises to be even bigger and better.

The tournament includes life skills and leadership development for players; live coverage of the matches produced by interns; scholarships for players and production interns; and free broadcast rights of the matches by community television channels on DStv.

The community of Alexandra which has been starved of top flight football for a long time, will finally get an opportunity to watch all the home games of Black Aces football club in the Diski Challenge at the Alexandra Stadium.

The defending champions, University of Pretoria, will be given a run for their money as the magnificent floating trophy and a life-changing seven-day trip to Holland is up for grabs.
