R90 000 sculpture stolen from Rosebank gallery
ROSEBANK – A man allegedly stole a R90 000 sculpture from the Everard-Read gallery in Rosebank, on Friday morning.
According to EWN, the bronze artwork stood at about 30cm in height.
Ewn has reported that a security official attempted to chase the man, when he noticed him carrying the artwork, but could not keep up.
The man allegedly got into a yellow VW Beetle and drove off with the sculpture.
