Gautrain advises that bus drivers will strike from 10am to 11am today
JOBURG - The Gautrain Management Agency tweeted they anticipated that Gautrain bus drivers would down tools at 10am and advised passengers to organise alternative routes until 11am.
It is unclear why the workers are striking.

Bus Services is operating to schedule this morning. We do expect a halt in service between 10h00 & 11h00, after which service will resume.

The Gautrain Management Agency tweeted they anticipated that Gautrain bus drivers would down tools at 5pm and advised passengers to organise alternative routes on the evening of 6 May.
The strike was expected to run from 5pm to 6pm.
The agency apologised for the disruption.
The reason for the strike is unknown at this time.
Bus services were still running normally at 4.30pm on 6 May.
We anticipate that bus drivers will again down tools between 17h00 & 18h00 this afternoon. We offer our sincere apologies for the disruption
