Liquor store break-in

CRAIGHALL-PARK- A burglary at Liquor City, Craighall Park has left management of the store outraged at the crime in the country.

According to one of the managers in the store who requested anonymity, the break-in occurred on 23 March at about 1am.

“They broke everything, even broke the safe, they came in through the roof and broke through the wall,” he said.

Parkview police spokesperson Lloyd Ramovha confirmed that entry was gained through the roof leaving visible damages.

“Luckily one of the guys who sleeps on the street saw what was happening and called for help,” said the manager.

“This country is gone.”

Ramovha said an undisclosed amount of cash and stock was allegedly stolen. He confirmed that a business burglary case had been opened and an investigation was underway.
