Two sisters Maddie (Annabel Scholey) and Taylor (Hannah Arterton) — one newly smitten with a handsome Italian, the other quietly hung up on a past holiday fling — realise they both have their hearts set on the same guy. Maddie is planning her wedding to her Italian fiancé, Raf, and she invites her sister, Taylor, to the wedding in Italy. However, Maddie doesn’t know that Raf is Taylor’s ex-boyfriend and still the love of her life.

Set to the music of popular hit songs from the 1980s, Walking on Sunshine is set against the backdrop of a beautiful coastal village in Italy. The film also stars Giulio Berruti, Leona Lewis, Katy Brand, Greg Wise and Danny Kirrane.
