Great Spa Day in Houghton

The day was set on translating the stirring messages of the Days of Awe into practical everyday commitments. The sold-out event, inspired and steered by Feige Hazdan, featured a lavish breakfast, a pampering session, loads of lucky draws and extraordinary speakers.

Chief Rebbetzin Gina Goldstein opened the morning with a prayer for Israel and world peace, followed by a presentation by Dr Andy Taub-Da Costa who pointed to how much power we have to realistically take our lives into our own hands.

Clinical Psychologist Serenne Kaplan offered a tool-kit of excellent ideas on parenting teens. Carmela Lishansky shared her own personal life-changing story and journey, moving the audience to tears and to action.

150 women attended the event and used the opportunity to nurture both body and soul.
