NPO empowers Rosebank homeless and unemployed

ROSEBANK – Non-profit organisation Develop SA will launch an academic programme that will give skills to the homeless and unemployed youth in Rosebank.

The programme is in partnership with the Rosebank Library, and is aimed at encouraging youth involvement in the economic activities of the nation and continent. Computer and business programmes will be offered free of charge.

Programme director at Develop SA, Admire Kamutimbe said the response so far was positive. “Our commitment is to relentlessly uplift, nurture and recycle young talent,” he said. “We encourage businesses in the area to support the work we are doing as most of our work depends on donations and sponsorship.”

Kamutimbe invited young professionals and retired experts to offer their services by mentoring the participants of the programme.
