Celebrating all things Parkhurst

PARKHURST is gearing up for its annual Village Fair in the suburb’s Verity Park on 26 July.

According to volunteer organiser and member of the Parkhurst Residents’ and Business Owners’ Association, the fair will showcase all the elements that make the suburb of Parkhurst unique – from craft brewers to bespoke goods, children’s activities and cycling.

“This year’s fair promises to be a great day out for families and friends. We aim to celebrate all things Parkhurst. So whether you are looking for artisan food and drink, a manicure for your furry friend or the latest sports gear – you will find it here,” said Hansen.

In the spirit of responsible alcohol use, the residents’ and business association has secured a partnership with taxi service Uber, who will provide all new users of the service a free ride valued up to R200.

Verity Park is located on the corner of Twelfth Street and Sixth Avenue.

The Fair will run from 10am until 4pm.

A small entrance fee will be charged per adult, kids enter for free.
