Afro’traction to perform at Vodacom Dome

JOBURG - South Africa's afro-soul crooner, Mzwandile Moya aka Afro'traction will perform live in concert on 8 March.

The Love tour live concert and DVD recording is set to be a big event on the Afro-soul music calendar this year.

Moya said he hoped to share “the love story with the people of South Africa, through his music”.

He said he was looking forward to the event. “The challenge I face in my genre of music is that people are used to house music, and think slower music is boring.”

The artist’s publicist Nomsa Zwane said, “Afro’traction will serenade the audience with a three hour show that will showcase his journey from playing bass for HHP to albums. Afro’traction produced artists such as HHP, Teargas, Kabelo, Denim, Jamali and Thembi Seete.”

“Other artists that will join Afro’traction on stage are Malik, Brian Temba, Mandoza and Presss,” Zwane said.

Afro’traction came onto the music scene in 2007. He has since released two albums, Soul Deep and Soulfully Yours.

The concert will start at 7pm and tickets are available at Computicket.
