HOUGHTON – One of the directors of auditing firm Sizwe Ntsaluba Gobodo was gunned down in the parking lot of its Houghton premises.

The murdered director of the arms deal auditing firm has been identified by police as Lawrence Moepi.
“It was alleged that around 10am on Friday, four unkown men shot and killed Moepi on West Street. It is believed that a white Golf GTi with four armed suspects followed Moepi from his home to his workplace,” said police spokesperson Constable Carol Mulalo.
Moepi was shot as he got out of his car upon arrival at work.
“The motive is still unknown, and police are investigating the murder,” said Mulalo.

Police spokesperson Constable Carol Mulalo said the as-yet unidentified man was declared dead on the scene.
According to an Eyewitness News report, it was suspected the killing was an organised hit, and the suspects fled without taking anything.
