Craighall resident part of adrenaline-pumping TV show

CRAIGHALL PARK - A Craighall Park resident, Oz Lupuwana (25), is among 15 men vying for victory in the television programme Nestlé's Bar One Manhunt.

He believes that life is an occasion to be celebrated and lives by the creed “You reap what you sow”.

This positive thinker is a Global brands beer merchant. He said that every day brings an opportunity to make a difference.

Lupuwana enjoys reading, debating and exercising.

The show entered its the third season in July and is poised to be more adrenaline-packed and thrill-laden than ever.

Sixteen men have been selected from across the country for their combination of strength and intelligence, following an intense audition process.

The contest is set to be a battle royale between Gauteng and the rest of the country, with nine of the 16 hailing from Johannesburg, Pretoria and surrounds.

The contestants range in build from big and bulky to small and lean, but they all know that being buff and tough will only get them so far in this competition: they’ll need to man up and face the demanding challenges with as much mental stamina as physical prowess.

Contestants will be pitting their skills, wits and endurance against each other in a bid to take home the handsome prizes, including R500 000.

But why did he join the competition? “I wanted to test myself against others whilst having a great experience,” he said.

Should he walk away with the prize he will “pay for business school (studies), invest in rural development, and travel”.
