St Teresa's Junior Primary congratulates the gymnast who will represent the province next month

St Teresa’s admission and marketing manager, Lianda May said the school is proud of Grade 2 learner, Enam Afordofe who qualified to compete in the Gauteng District Championships Competition in August by coming first overall and winning a gold medal in her Club Gymnastics Competitions.

“During the Gauteng District Championships, she came first on vault with a 9.35 score winning another gold medal and qualifying for the Gauteng Provincial Gymnastics Competition. In this competition, she won first place overall with two gold medals and one silver medal making her a champion in the U8 category. “

May added that Afordofe also won overall first place for her beam with a 9.2 score and second place for her vault with a score of 9.1.

The Grade 2 learner recently qualified to represent Gauteng Gymnastic Association at the 2023 Gym Games that will take place in October.
