St Teresa's School learners spent their end of term giving back to people in need.

St Teresa’s School ended their term on a positive note by giving back and lending a helping hand.

St Teresa’s admission and marketing manager, Lianda May explained that at the end of last term, the school’s senior primary Rosies gave their time, food and attention to some of the school’s outreach projects.

“Our Grade 7 girls visited Fora (Friends of Rescued Animals) in Krugersdorp with a trailer full of pet food and blankets that they collected during the term. They took the dogs for an energetic run and gave cuddles to all the cats and kittens.”

She added that the Grade 6 girls collected non-perishable foods, gently worn clothing, puzzles, games and toys for Thulmntwana Creche in Orange Farm.

May said the learners took collected items with them when they visited and took time to paint fences, walls and playground equipment there.
