The 14-year-old added that she had faith in herself and her abilities because she received a lot of medals, trophies and certificates. Her favourite award is the Southern Gauteng gold medal that she won last year at the inter-provincial tournament (IPT).

“I joined a club in 2014. I realised that I was good at hockey when I received my first U8 player of the season trophy. I currently play all forms of hockey which include indoor and outdoor.”
