The Ridge School welcomes new headmaster Frank Rumboll

A local school based in Westcliff welcomes a new Headmaster.

The Ridge School, a prestigious all-boys school, celebrated its first day of school and the start of a new era under the leadership of new headmaster Frank Rumboll.

Rumboll brings a wealth of experience to the school having previously served in leadership roles at several prestigious schools around the country.

With a reputation for being a forward-thinking leader who was committed to providing learners with a well-rounded education, parents were encouraged to trust Rumboll with their children.

Itumeleng Kgaboesele, chairman of The Ridge School board, said, “We are thrilled to have Frank Rumboll join our community as the new headmaster, and his passion for education and dedication to the success of each learner aligns perfectly with our mission and values.”

Frank Rumboll, The Ridge School mascot Ridgie, Songezo Malangeni, and Glynnis Moore are ready to welcome the learners on their first day at school.

He added The Ridge School would continue to provide an outstanding educational experience for their learners under his leadership.

The new headmaster, Frank Rumboll, says he was honoured to be a part of the Ridge School community and excited to work with the learners, faculty, and parents to help all learners reach their full potential.

“I look forward to a great year and many more to come.”

Rumboll welcomed the learners and encouraged them to take advantage of the school’s numerous academic and extracurricular programmes and always strive for excellence.
