DSJ Kindergarten gets musical

The Deutsche Internationale Schule Johannesburg (DSJ) Kindergarten treated to music, dance, and art-filled concert.

Deutsche Internationale Schule Johannesburg (DSJ) Kindergarten was full of laughter, smiles, and good memories on August 20.

Cali Currin, Heide Fleischmann, and Caroline Pitot De La Beaujardiere ready to bring energy to the stage.

The kindergarten hosted one of its best fun-filled colour concerts with parents in attendance. According to Brigitte Helmrich, the principal the concert aimed at giving learners the chance to have the most amazing time on stage with clapping and cheering from their parents.

“Living through the last two and a half years taught us to not take known structures and daily routines for granted, and now are back again to celebrate and have fun.”

She explained how Covid-19 had negatively impacted the DSJ Kindergarten’s playdates and fun events.

“Playdates fell away, grandparents could not come for visits, the kindergarten was closed and when reopened, there were so many new rules, now we are making sure we have all the fun, and that is exactly what we did.”
