New electronic scoreboard for Wanderers Cricket Club

ILLOVO – Group CEO of Konica Minolta Jason Kupritz said the team at Konica Minolta Gauteng is proud of their association with Wanderers.

The cricket section of the Wanderers Club received a new electronic scoreboard for its main oval on January 8 thanks to Konica Minolta Gauteng.

Chairman of the Wanderers Cricket Club Frank Auger thanked Konica Minolta Gauteng for their donation stating that it was a long-held desire of his to have an electronic scoreboard. He said this is the final piece of the jigsaw to make the Wanderers Club a world-class facility for cricket.

Group CEO of Konica Minolta Jason Kupritz said, “I am 45 years old and have been playing cricket since the age of six and club cricket for more than half my life. The Wanderers has always been a special place for me with loads of amazing moments and memories.”

Kupritz said the team at Konica Minolta Gauteng is proud of their association with Wanderers. “We see the great work they are doing supporting women’s cricket, the role it is playing in the transformation of the game, as well as creating a newly-formed veterans league which, against all odds, has been a huge success,” Kupritz added.

“The facilities are world-class, supported by expert coaches for all age groups. I believe the Wanderers Cricket Club is full of opportunities for all players looking to make a success of their cricketing careers, whether social or competitive.”

Kupritz concluded, “Konica Minolta Gauteng looks forward to assisting wherever possible in creating magic together.”
