Parktown cross-country runners impress at Delta Park
PARKVIEW – Director of sport at the school Catherine McCreesh said a whopping 40 runners from the school took part.
Parktown Girls cross-country runners recently participated in a league race at Delta Park, with many runners finishing in the top 20.
Director of sport at the school Catherine McCreesh said a whopping 40 runners from the school took part.
“Well done to all the runners, especially those who managed to improve their personal bests,” said McCreesh.
The following Parktown runners placed in the top 20:
- Georgia Shear (15th place, senior girls)
- Rachael Steven (18th place, senior girls)
- Zinathi Kema (11th place, junior girls)
- Leah Cornell (14th place, junior girls)
- Jade Freeman (15th place, junior girls).
