Gauteng Premier visits Netcare Milpark as Covid-19 vaccine rollout continues

MILPARK – Netcare Milpark Private Hospital is set to vaccinate over 800 healthcare workers tomorrow.

Netcare Milpark is one of the chosen sites currently administering the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine.

This is part of the Sisonke early access programme and that they have conducted 4 162 vaccinations at Netcare hospitals with over 800 people set to be vaccinated at Milpark today.

Gauteng Premier, David Makhura together with the MEC for Health, Dr Nomathemba Mokgethi visited the hospital on 11 March.

This is the second hospital in the Gazette’s area to start administering the Covid-19 vaccine. Just last week, Charlotte Maxeke Academic Hospital began its vaccine rollout.
