Musician Sho Majozi pays courtesy visit to Bramley’s Spark School

BRAMLEY – An irritated neighbour posted a video complaining about noise not knowing she was inviting the musician to the school.

To help young learners of Bramley Spark School to end their academic term on a high note, rapper and musician Sho Majozi paid a courtesy visit on 6 March.

The visit came after one irate resident posted a video on Twitter of the children singing and dancing to Sho Majozi’s famous song John Cena complaining about the noise.

According to Nonhlanhla Mahlangu of the school, the 27-year-old musician was ‘blown away’ after seeing a video clip on social media of the jubilant rendition of her hit song performed by the learners at their morning assembly.

“She then, together with her manager, contacted the school and requested to visit and permission was then granted. The children were so excited to see their favourite musician and they even welcomed her with screams and it was all jubilation at the school,” said Mahlangu.

Majozi said, “I loved the passion of the kids and wanted to meet them face to face.” She described the school as ‘an amazing environment that makes learning fun’.

Her final words to her star-struck young fans were: “Celebrate the things that make you feel excited – they tell you what you want to do with your life.”
