A video has recently surfaced showing alleged taxi violence in the Johannesburg CBD.
The video was posted on 19 November on Twitter by @crimeairnetwork and details a grouping of people flipping what appears to be a private car over before heading back to a taxi across the road.

It is unclear what the circumstances regarding the issue are and the North Eastern Tribune is currently awaiting comment from the Metro police and SAPS.
The video has seen numerous responses, from Twitter users, with many expressing concern around the lack of police visibility in the area:
