JEPPESTOWN – The parents of a nine-month-old are on the hunt for their missing son.

A manhunt has been launched by the Joburg East Cluster police for a teenager who allegedly kidnapped her nephew in KwaZulu-Natal.

It is alleged that on 23 September, Ngobile Nkonyeni, a 19-year-old from Port Shepstone, kidnapped her nephew, Christopher Khutyiswayo, after she was asked to look after him.

“She disappeared with Khutyiswayo and all attempts to contact her have been unsuccessful,” said the spokesperson for Jeppe Police Station, Captain Richard Munyai.

“The case has been referred to Joburg since it is believed that the alleged kidnapper, Nkonyeni, is hiding in Joburg.

Baby Christopher has been allegedly kidnapped by Ngobile Nkonyen from Kwa-Zulu Natal.
