Rising classical music star
HOUGHTON – St John's College's Shaylan Bhundia has been crowned the winner of the Philip H Moore Music Competition.

St John’s College Grade 7 pupil Shaylan Bhundia won this year’s Philip H Moore Music Competition.
The competition is a prestigious annual national competition open to classical musicians under the age of 25.
Bhundia made it through two preliminary rounds to become a finalist at the gala event.
Spokesperson for the school Jacqui Deeks said, “One of the adjudicators, Elize Kruger, commended Shaylan on his mature technical faculty and musicality.”
