According to Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela of Bramley police, the incident happened around 2.45pm and the toddler was declared dead by paramedics.
“Police and Paramedics were called in and the toddler was declared dead on the scene. We are still investigating this matter and… an inquest docket has been opened,” he said.
