Covid 19: Watch, Parkview police’s first day of operations during #21dayLockdown

PARKVIEW – Parkview Police Station is working to ensure compliance with government regulations during the 21-day lockdown period.

The Parkview Police Station gave the Rosebank Killarney Gazette a look at how the station will be operating during the next 21 days of lockdown on 27 March.

The aim of the lockdown is to stop the rising numbers of Covid-19 cases in South Africa. The Health Minister announced on 27 March that the number of cases has reached the 1 000 mark, with the first two deaths reported.

Parkview Police Station is working to ensure compliance with government regulations during the 21-day lockdown period.

Police have spent the first day of lockdown ensuring that displaced people are transferred to places of shelter for the duration of the 21 days. They have also checked up on businesses in the area, ensuring the closure of non-essential services.
