The Kingsmead Music Celebration has a fine tune to it

HURLINGHAM – Learners, teachers and parents from Kingsmead College filled up the Rosebank Union Church for their music celebration.

 


It was a night filled with excitement as Kingsmead College learners, staff and parents made their way to the Kingsmead Music Celebration. The celebration was held at the Rosebank Union Church in Hurlingham.

The Kingsmead Music Department showcased all the junior and senior school vocal and instrumental groups, including the following:

  • Grade 2, 3, 4 and 7
  • Senior school choirs
  • Junior and senior school glee groups
  • Junior and senior school orchestras
  • Junior and senior school marimba ensembles
  • Senior school jazz band.

The purpose of the event was to showcase the school’s wonderful young musicians and to fundraise towards the next performing arts tour, which will take place in 2021.
