Parkhurst and Craighall Park residents clean their park
CRAIGHALL PARK – During the clean-up, ward councillor, Tim Truluck found an electric insulator tool used by criminals to lift up electric fences, much to the astonishment of the residents.
Craighall Park and Parkhurst residents cleaned up Hamilton Park as part of the A Re Sebetseng clean-up campaign.
The combined team effort was organised by Parkhurst Residents and Business Owners Association (Praboa) and Craigpark Residents Association.
Lize Hough, a member of Praboa said the clean-up was to reinforce the value of beautiful green spaces within communities. “City Parks was also helpful and prompt as they delivered the refuse bags and gloves after a single phone call,” said Hough.
Community members cleaned up the park and removed litter that was blocking the water flow of the stream. During the clean-up, ward councillor, Tim Truluck found an electric insulator tool used by criminals to lift up electric fences, much to the astonishment of the residents.
