Princes and princesses of Park Care

PARKTOWN – Everyone forgot about their delicate health for a bit as they fully indulged in the Park Care Centre royal-themed party.

Residents at Park Care were treated to a royal celebration-themed day at the centre’s premises in Parktown West. The day was filled with music and ‘magic’ as the Park Care ‘princes and princesses’ dressed up in attires from the pages of a fairy tale book.

Park Care Centre, which was established in 1961, provides nursing services to 80 elderly individuals. Since its establishment though, the centre now has six buildings on the premises with a capacity of caring for 310 residents.

The centre focuses on providing nursing care to the chronically sick and/or mentally or physically frail persons from the age of 16 years and upwards.
