Parkview police on the hunt for two suspects for armed robbery

PARKVIEW– Two out of three suspects have been identified in connection to a number of armed robberies.

 


Parkview Police Station officers are looking for two out of three suspects who have been identified in connection with charges of armed robbery.

Suspect one was described as tall, medium built and chubby weight with clean shaven hair and suspected to be between the ages of 25 and 30. According to the modus operandi (MO) supplied by the station, “It is alleged that the victim was walking from Northcliff to his home in Emmarentia when he was approached by a male suspect who snatched his phone out of the pocket. The suspect then pushed the complainant and walked away.”
The suspect was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, green pants and grey sneakers.

Suspect two was described as tall, slender, with short, untidy hair and small eyes. His age is suspected to be between 25 and 30. The suspect had aggressive speech expressions and was armed with a black pistol making use of a white Toyota Corolla Professional for transport. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.

“It is alleged that the victim was on the corner of Jan Smuts Avenue and The Valley Road at Westcliff when he was approached by two armed male suspects. The suspects forced the victim into a white Toyota Corolla and drove away with him and robbed him of his belongings,” states the modus operandi.
