947 Breakfast Club visits Parktown Boys

PARKTOWN – The school's brass band and choir entertained listeners.

The 947 Breakfast Club visited Parktown Boys’ High School on 12 February for the club’s school invasion programme.

Caroline Williams of the school’s marketing department said, “Despite the rain, Anele [Mdoda] and Frankie [du Toit] had the [swimming] race they had been promising us. It was a close one with Anele being the favourite, but in the end, Frankie took gold.”

Parktown Boys pulled out all the stops with the school choir and brass band performing.

“When the Breakfast Club arrived, boys were already in action playing cricket, basketball and swimming. The boys themselves behaved impeccably and showed off by singing a most impactful warcry,” said Williams.

The school thanked the Breakfast Club for the experience and thanked those involved for their role in making the morning a success.
